At Nybo Workwear, we are proud of the certifications that we and our suppliers have achieved. These certifications ensure that we work responsibly and sustainably. They cover important social and environmental aspects and reflect our commitment to quality, safety, and responsibility throughout the entire production chain. Read on for an overview of the certificates we hold, as well as those our suppliers comply with.

Our Certificates

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100
OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 guarantees that our textiles have been tested for harmful substances and are safe for both people and the environment. This certification ensures that our clothing does not contain chemicals that could be harmful, meaning that it is safe to use and does not harm health or nature.

OEKO-TEX STeP
OEKO-TEX STeP (Sustainable Textile & Leather Production) is a certification that shows that our production is conducted in a socially responsible and sustainable manner. This means ensuring good working conditions for our employees, reducing environmental impact, and avoiding the use of harmful chemicals in production. This certification helps us maintain high standards in both social and environmental aspects.

OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN
The MADE IN GREEN label confirms that an item has been tested for harmful substances. This is performed through certification in accordance with OEKO-TEX® STeP. It also guarantees that textile productions have been made through sustainable processes under environmentally friendly and socially responsible working conditions.

Made in Green
Made in Green is a traceability label based on OEKO-TEX STeP and STANDARD 100. This certification shows that our products are not only safe and free from harmful substances but are also produced in environmentally friendly and ethically responsible ways. Each product with the Made in Green label has a unique code that allows its journey through the entire production chain to be traced. This provides our customers with transparency and assurance that the products are produced responsibly.

EU Ecolabel
The EU Ecolabel is the official EU environmental label, confirming that our clothing has minimal negative impact on the environment throughout its entire life cycle. To obtain this certification, products must meet strict requirements for energy efficiency, sustainability, and responsible use of chemicals. By choosing products with the EU Ecolabel, we contribute to reducing resource consumption and promoting a circular economy.

ISO 15797
ISO 15797 demonstrates that our textiles are suitable for industrial washing, which is often used in the healthcare sector and the hotel industry. This certification ensures that our clothing can withstand the high temperatures and chemicals used in industrial washing without compromising quality or durability. This is crucial to ensure long life and hygienic use.

Supplier Certifications

Amfori BSCI
Amfori BSCI ensures that our suppliers comply with international standards for working conditions. This includes fair wages, safe working conditions, and preventing forced labor or child labor. We only work with suppliers who can document their compliance with these social responsibility requirements, creating a socially responsible supply chain.

SA8000
SA8000 is an international standard for social responsibility that focuses on working conditions such as wages, working hours, safety, and the right to form unions. This certification ensures that our suppliers respect human rights and provide safe and ethical working environments. This is particularly important to us, as we want everyone involved in the production of our clothing to work under good and safe conditions.

Setex
The Setex certification shows that our suppliers maintain high standards of both quality and environmental responsibility. This means that their production is conducted in a resource-efficient manner and reduces environmental impact. By choosing suppliers with Setex certification, we help ensure that our products are made with a focus on quality and sustainability.

Bluesign
The Bluesign certification ensures that our textile products are manufactured with minimal use of harmful chemicals, and that production takes place under responsible conditions with a focus on both the environment and worker safety. By working with suppliers who have Bluesign certification, we ensure that our products meet high environmental and social standards.

Our Requirements for Suppliers

Nybo Workwear only collaborates with suppliers who can document a high level of social and environmental responsibility. Suppliers must have one of the following certifications: Amfori BSCI, SA8000, Setex, or OEKO-TEX STeP. This ensures that our products meet strict requirements for quality, safety, and responsibility throughout the entire production chain.
