EU Ecolabel
EU Ecolabel is the EU's official environmental label. EU Ecolabel was established in 1992 by the EU-commision to contribute to a sustainable production and user spending.
Since then the EU-commision has developed environmental requirements within 24 different product areas. In Denmark EU Ecolabel is taken care of by Miljømærkning Danmark on behalf of the danish environmental ministri.
EU Ecolabel er a renowned symbol that stands for more environmentlly friendly products in the EU. The brand helps consumers and byers make a more informed and decisive decesion regarding their purchases.
EU Ecolabel is a Type I-environmental label which means that the entire products lifecycle and all relevant environmental parameters is included when the requirements are being developed.
