Vounable groups in our supply-chain
At Nybo Workwear we at least anually create an analysis of the vulnerable groups in our supply-chain. The last analysis was conduction in September 2024.
The vulnerable groups in our supply-chain are:
-
Trade unionists: These individuals are members of labor unions or represent their colleagues in collective bargaining. They often require protection against retaliation from employers.
-
Migrant workers: Individuals who move across regions or countries to find work, facing challenges such as legal recognition of their employment, access to healthcare, and fair treatment in a foreign labor market.
-
Home workers: Workers performing tasks from their own homes, often excluded from standard labor protections such as fair wages, benefits, and safe working conditions.
-
Illiterate people: Individuals lacking reading and writing skills, often in need of educational opportunities and access to programs for basic literacy and numeracy.
-
Workers in rural areas or special economic zones: These individuals are often employed in geographically remote or economically challenged regions, where basic infrastructure and services may be lacking, and labor rights are less enforced.
-
(Young) Women: Women, especially those under 26, face unique workplace challenges, including gender discrimination, wage disparities, and limited access to career advancement.
-
Seasonal workers: Individuals employed on a temporary or seasonal basis, often for agricultural or industrial tasks, may lack job security and consistent wages.
-
People with different identities and sexual orientations: This group includes LGBTQ+ individuals who face workplace discrimination and require inclusive policies to ensure equal treatment and opportunities.

-
Promotion of living wages: The company promotes and advocates for living wages, ensuring that workers receive fair compensation that meets the cost of living in their region.
-
Whistleblower access: Nybo Workwear enables all workers, including those from vulnerable groups, to access its whistleblower solution, which allows them to report unethical practices safely and anonymously.
-
Contracts in local language: Nybo Workwear oversees that all workers have a written contract in their own language.
-
